Christopher is Kira's father he plays a small role in Gathering Blue at the end. He is what Matt calls the "big giftie." He has scars all over his face from men that did not like him, and he is also blind. Kira does not know that it is her father until he pulls the leather thong that hung there, and he held it and she saw the polished half rock that matched her own. Before that he told her stories of his village and the story of how he got there. Kira asked Christopher if there are beasts and he said no they were men. It happened when preparing for a hunt and people didn't like Christopher, so they took him to the field and left him for death after they did stuff to him. One of them were Jamison. People from another village that were disabled and were worthless or useless to Kira's community got him and took him in. Christopher's personality is unique he is very nice, secretive, and talented. The very ending of the story Christopher asks Kira to come with him, but she wants to stay to see if she can fix the future for Christopher.
